The Chatham Panthers triumphed over the host Rensselaer Rams softball squad by a count of 20-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Panthers play the Colonie Central Wolfpack (Albany, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 14. Chatham will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Wolfpack enter the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 6-5 league win over Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY).

The Rams (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Germantown (Germantown, NY). The Clippers enter the Section 2 Patroon challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Germantown overcame Cairo-Durham (Cairo, NY), 7-3, in a league challenge.
