The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Chautauqua Lake Eagles (Mayville, NY) and the host Maple Grove Red Dragons (Bemus Point, NY), observed Chautauqua Lake's softball team get by Maple Grove by a tally of 5-0.

The Eagles (10-3) will now prepare for their bout against Cassadaga Valley (Sinclairville, NY). The Cougars go into the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus II West bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Cassadaga Valley was routed by Clymer/Sherman (Sherman, NY), 16-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Red Dragons battle the Jamestown Red & Green (Jamestown, NY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 15. Maple Grove will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record.
