Illinois High School Softball - Mulberry Grove bounces Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Mulberry Grove Aces (Mulberry Grove, IL) and the host Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats (Cowden, IL), observed Mulberry Grove's softball team notch a victory over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City by a final score of 13-0.

The Aces (12-5) will now prepare for their bout against Altamont (Altamont, IL). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 16-8 record. In their last bout, Altamont was routed by Hutsonville/Palestine (Palestine, IL), 1-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Martinsville Bluestreaks (Martinsville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 15. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Bluestreaks go into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 14-12 non-league loss to Red Hill (Bridgeport, IL).
