The Cranston West Falcons softball squad (Cranston, RI), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI)

With the triumph, Prout improves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Pilgrim (Warwick, RI) to face the Patriots in a Division 1 contest on Wednesday, May 14. The Patriots enter the contest with a record of 14-1. Pilgrim won 2-0 in their recent league contest against East Providence (East Providence, RI)

The Falcons now hold a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to East Providence for a Division 1 contest on Wednesday, May 14. Cranston West will face a Townies squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Townies record now stands at 7-7.
