The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Poland Tornadoes (Poland, NY) and the host Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights (Frankfort, NY), observed Poland's softball team get by Frankfort-Schuyler by a tally of 17-12.

The Tornadoes (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Oriskany (Oriskany, NY). The Skyhawks go into the Section 3 Center State III bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Oriskany was routed by Cooperstown (Cooperstown, NY), 9-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Maroon Knights clash with the Canastota Red Raiders (Canastota, NY) in a Section 3 Center State I bout, on Wednesday, May 14. Frankfort-Schuyler will attempt to advance on its 3-9 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 8-7 league loss to Little Falls (Little Falls, NY).
