In Tuesday's league test, the Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR) softball squad overwhelmed the host McDaniel Mountain Lions (Portland, OR), by a tally of 14-4.
Next, the Quakers clash with the Cleveland Warriors (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland Interscholastic test, on Wednesday, May 14. Franklin will attempt to advance on its 9-12 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 11-12 record after their 12-2 league win over McDaniel (Portland, OR).
The Mountain Lions (9-14) will now prepare for their test against Roosevelt (Portland, OR). The Roughriders go into the 6A Portland Interscholastic test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Roosevelt prevailed over Lincoln (Portland, OR), 8-0, in a league test.
