In Tuesday's league test, the Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) softball squad got by the host Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL), by a tally of 2-1.
Next, the Spartans clash with the New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) in a Central Suburban - South test, on Thursday, May 15. Glenbrook North will attempt to advance on its 16-12 season record. The Trevians go into the test with a 14-4 record after their 6-0 league win over Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL).
The Hawks (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Highland Park (Highland Park, IL). The Giants go into the Central Suburban - South test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Highland Park held off Evanston (Evanston, IL), 9-0, in a league test.
