The Giants (5-6) will now prepare for their bout against Mankato West (Mankato, MN). The Scarlets go into the non-league bout with a 13-4 record. In their last bout, Mankato West knocked off Winona (Winona, MN), 4-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Cleveland Clippers (Cleveland, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 16. Minnesota Valley Lutheran will attempt to advance on its 3-12 season record. The Clippers go into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 8-2 non-league win over St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN).
