Connecticut High School Softball - Lyman Memorial bounces Putnam

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Lyman Memorial Bulldogs softball team scored a tight 15-10 win over the Putnam Clippers.

The Bulldogs (6-6) will now prepare for their match against Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 6-5 record.

In their next game, the Clippers confront the Wheeler Lions (North Stonington, CT) in a non-league match, on Thursday, May 15. Putnam will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 8-7 record after their 13-9 non-league loss to Ledyard (Ledyard, CT).
