The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Maury Commodores (Norfolk, VA) and the host Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA), observed Maury's softball team get by Norcom by a tally of 1-0.

The Commodores (10-4) will now prepare for their bout against Norview (Norfolk, VA). The Pilots go into the Eastern bout with a 2-10 record. In their last bout, Norview was nipped by King's Fork (Suffolk, VA), 17-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Greyhounds clash with the Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA) in a Eastern bout, on Friday, May 16. Norcom will attempt to advance on its 8-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 25-4 non-league loss to Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA).
