Connecticut High School Softball - Trumbull held off by Norwalk

In Tuesday's league test, the Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT) softball squad got by the visiting Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT), by a tally of 5-4.

Next, the Bears clash with the Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT) in a Fairfield County test, on Friday, May 16. Norwalk will attempt to advance on its 11-4 season record. The Black Knights go into the test with a 3-9 record after their 16-3 non-league loss to Notre Dame Prep (Fairfield, CT).

The Eagles (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT). The Tigers go into the Fairfield County test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Ridgefield held off Danbury (Danbury, CT), 1-0, in a league test.
