The South Lyon Lions overwhelmed the host Walled Lake Central Vikings softball squad by a count of 20-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI) in a Lakes Valley challenge, on Tuesday, May 20. South Lyon will attempt to upgrade on its 18-7 season record.
The Vikings (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Knights go into the Lakes Valley challenge with a 18-4 record. In their last challenge, Walled Lake Northern toppled Milford (Highland, MI), 17-6, in a league challenge.
