Minnesota High School Baseball - Byron loses to Pine Island

The Byron Bears baseball squad (Byron, MN), was overwhelmed 9-4 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN)

With the triumph, Pine Island moves its record to 11-9 on the season. The Panthers travel to Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Friday, May 15. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 10-6. Plainview-Elgin-Millville won 6-5 in their recent league contest against St. Charles (St. Charles, MN)

The Bears now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to John Marshall for a non-league contest on Friday, May 15. Byron will confront a Rockets squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Faribault (Faribault, MN). The Rockets record now stands at 4-15.
