The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Hemlock Huskies (Hemlock, MI) and the visiting Chesaning Indians (Chesaning, MI), observed Hemlock's softball team prevail over Chesaning by a tally of 12-0.

The Huskies (13-8) will now prepare for their bout against Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI). The Chargers go into the non-league bout with a 4-13 record. In their last bout, Valley Lutheran was routed by Alma (Alma, MI), 13-7, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Ovid-Elsie Marauders (Elsie, MI) in a Mid-Michigan bout, on Thursday, May 14. Chesaning will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Marauders go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 10-0 league loss to New Lothrop (New Lothrop, MI).
