The Janesville Craig Cougars baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Beloit Memorial Purple Knights to 3 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.

The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Sun Prairie (Sun Prairie, WI). The Cardinals go into the Big Eight match with a 8-0 record. In their last match, Sun Prairie tipped Madison West (Madison, WI), 4-0, in a league match.

The Purple Knights (0-6) will now prepare for their match against Madison East (Madison, WI). The Purgolders go into the Big Eight match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Madison East tipped Janesville Parker (Janesville, WI), 3-2, in a league match.
