In Friday's league contest, the Jonathan Alder Pioneers (Plain City, OH) softball team overwhelmed the host Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH), by a margin of 11-1.
With the triumph, Jonathan Alder moves its record to 20-4 on the year. The Pioneers host Centerville (Centerville, OH) to play the Elks in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 15. The Elks come into the contest with a record of 10-8.
In their next game, the Braves play the Tippecanoe Red Devils (Tipp City, OH) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 18. Shawnee will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record.
