The Avon Old Farms Beavers the host Hotchkiss School Bearcats baseball team by a tally of 5-1 in Saturday's league bout.
The Beavers now hold a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Taft School for a Founders bout on Monday, May 16. Avon Old Farms will face a Big Red team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Westminster School (Simsbury, CT). The Big Red record now stands at 6-9.
Next, the Bearcats face the Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT) in a Founders bout, on Monday, May 16. Hotchkiss School will attempt to advance on its 4-11 season record. The Pelicans enter the bout with a 14-2 record after their 17-4 league win over Kent School (Kent, CT).
