Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting McCollum Cowboys (San Antonio, TX), 9-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Canyon upgrades its record to 26-7 on the season. The Cougars travel to Georgetown (Georgetown, TX) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, May 21. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 25-6. Georgetown won 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Floresville (Floresville, TX)

With the defeat, McCollum falls to 16-10 on the season.
