Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the DuVal Tigers (Lanham, MD) and the visiting High Point Eagles (Beltsville, MD), saw DuVal's baseball squad knock off High Point by a count of 11-9.
Coming up next, the Tigers play the Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 17. DuVal will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 10-4 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD).
The Eagles now possess a 5-8 record.
