With the win, Laurel upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to DuVal (Lanham, MD) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 17. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 10-4. DuVal won 11-9 in their recent non-league test against High Point (Beltsville, MD)

With the defeat, Northwestern falls to 3-13 on the season.
