Spectators at Saturday's league battle between the New Paltz Huguenots (New Paltz, NY) and the visiting Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY), saw New Paltz's baseball squad edge Saugerties by a count of 4-3.

Coming up next, the Huguenots play the Webutuck Warriors (Amenia, NY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 16. New Paltz will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 2-8 record after their 14-11 non-league loss to Onteora (Boiceville, NY).

The Sawyers now possess a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they host Rondout Valley for a Section 9 Mid Hudson I battle on Monday, May 16. Saugerties will play a Ganders squad coming off a 10-8 league win over Highland (Highland, NY). The Ganders record now stands at 7-5.
