Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN) and the visiting Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN), saw Norwell's baseball squad beat Jay County by a margin of 13-3.

Coming up next, the Knights play the Columbia City Eagles (Columbia City, IN) in a battle, on Tuesday, May 17. Norwell will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 4-2 record after their 12-5 non-league win over Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, IN).

The Patriots now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Delta for a non-league battle on Monday, May 16. Jay County will play a Eagles squad coming off a 6-4 league win over Yorktown (Yorktown, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 11-5.
