Apponequet Regional Lakers (Lakeville, MA) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Middleborough Sachems (Middleborough, MA), 20-3 in a non-league battle.
The Lakers now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Seekonk for a South Coast battle on Wednesday, May 18. Apponequet Regional will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 10-3 league loss to Dighton-Rehoboth Regional (North Dighton, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-10.
In their next game, the Sachems clash with the Norwell Clippers (Norwell, MA) in a South Shore battle, on Monday, May 16. Middleborough will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record. The Clippers come into the battle with a 13-2 record after their 15-9 non-league win over Scituate (Scituate, MA).
