Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT), 8-6 in a league battle.

The Big Red now have a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Avon Old Farms for a Founders battle on Wednesday, May 18. Taft School will clash with a Beavers squad coming off a 13-11 non-league loss to Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA). The Beavers record now stands at 9-5.

In their next game, the Pelicans clash with the Choate Rosemary Hall School Wild Boars (Wallingford, CT) in a Founders battle, on Wednesday, May 18. Loomis Chaffee School will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Wild Boars go into the match with a 5-7 record after their 12-5 league loss to Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT).
