In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Boone Grove Wolves softball team scored a close 8-6 win over the South Central Satellites.

In their next game, the Wolves play the Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 16. Boone Grove will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 17-1 record after their 5-1 league win over Lake Central (St. John, IN).
