Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), 7-3 in a league challenge.

The Bison now own a 21-3 record. They take the field next when they host Grayslake Central for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 14. Buffalo Grove will face a Rams squad coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Rams record now stands at 9-17.

With the loss, Elk Grove falls to 15-10 on the campaign. The Grenadiers host Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to face the Knights in a Mid-Suburban East challenge on Monday, May 16. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 11-9. Prospect lost 10-4 in their recent league challenge against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL)
