Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hughesville Spartans (Hughesville, PA), 18-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bluejays now own a 16-2 record. They take the field next when they host Montgomery for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 17. Central Columbia will battle a Red Raiders squad coming off a 12-1 league win over Neumann Regional Academy (Williamsport, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Hughesville falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA) to battle the Green Dragons in a Heartland II challenge on Monday, May 16. The Green Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 12-3. Lewisburg won 9-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Milton (Milton, PA)
