Indiana High School Softball - Charlestown gets by Jennings County

The Charlestown Pirates got by the visiting Jennings County Panthers softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Pirates (14-7) will now prepare for their battle against New Albany (New Albany, IN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 12-8 record.

The Panthers now sport a 9-17 record. They play next when they host Columbus North for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 17. Jennings County will meet a Bull Dogs squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Greensburg (Greensburg, IN). The Bull Dogs record now stands at 16-3.
