Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their softball team get by the host Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY), 3-1 in a non-league contest.

With the triumph, Pendleton County moves its record to 17-8 on the year. The Wildcats host Ryle (Union, KY) to play the Raiders in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 17. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 16-13. Ryle lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY)

With the loss, Lewis County falls to 25-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Russell (Russell, KY) to battle the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 9-19. Russell won 21-5 in their recent non-league contest against Fairview (Ashland, KY)
