The Portage Indians softball team (Portage, IN), was routed 6-0 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN)

Coming up next, the Kingsmen encounter the New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN) in a Northern Indiana test, on Monday, May 16. Penn will attempt to improve on its 17-7 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 20-5 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Edwardsburg (Edwardsburg, MI).

The Indians (9-12) will now prepare for their test against South Central (Union Mills, IN). The Satellites come into the non-league test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, South Central was routed by Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN), 8-6, in a non-league test.
