The Matawan Regional Huskies baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Barnegat Bengals to 1 in the Huskies non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Huskies (15-6) will now prepare for their match against Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ). The Hawks go into the non-league match with a 7-11 record.
The Bengals (6-14) will now prepare for their match against Point Pleasant Beach (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ). The Garnet Gulls go into the non-league match with a 18-3 record. In their last match, Point Pleasant Beach was overwhelmed by Jackson Memorial (Jackson Township, NJ), 6-5, in a non-league match.
