The Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale Bears to 4 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Wolverines (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Albany (Albany, MN). The Huskies go into the non-league match with a 10-4 record. In their last match, Albany edged St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN), 2-1, in a league match.

The Bears (5-11) will now prepare for their match against Sebeka (Sebeka, MN). The Trojans go into the Park Region match with a 7-6 record.
