The St. John Paul II Lions crushed the visiting Monomoy Sharks baseball team by a count of 13-3 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Lions now possess a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Archbishop Williams for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 15. St. John Paul II will face a Bishops team coming off a 20-4 league loss to Arlington Catholic (Arlington, MA). The Bishops record now stands at 4-10.
Next, the Sharks face the Nantucket Whalers (Nantucket, MA) in a Cape & Islands bout, on Wednesday, May 15. Monomoy will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Whalers enter the bout with a 2-12 record after their 5-4 league loss to Cape Cod RVT (Harwich, MA).
