Annandale Cardinals (Annandale, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting New London-Spicer Wildcats (New London, MN), 11-3 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 8-11 record. They take the field next when they host Kimball for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 16. Annandale will battle a Cubs squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Maple Lake (Maple Lake, MN). The Cubs record now stands at 19-0.

With the loss, New London-Spicer falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN) to battle the Panthers in a Wright County challenge on Friday, May 17. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 11-5. Glencoe-Silver Lake lost 9-5 in their recent league challenge against Rockford (Rockford, MN)
