The West Genesee Wildcats the host Auburn Maroons softball squad by a final score of 5-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Wildcats (10-7) will now prepare for their battle against Baldwinsville (Baldwinsville, NY). The Bees come into the Section 3 Metro contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Baldwinsville was routed by Liverpool (Liverpool, NY), 2-0, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Maroons play the Jamesville-DeWitt Red Rams (DeWitt, NY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 17. Auburn will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record. The Red Rams come into the contest with a 13-3 record after their 19-0 non-league win over Henninger (Syracuse, NY).
