The Waconia Wildcats the visiting Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights softball squad by a final score of 7-5 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Wildcats (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against Orono (Long Lake, MN). The Spartans go into the Wright County battle with a 6-11 record. In their last battle, Orono nudged New Prague (New Prague, MN), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
The Red Knights now possess a 3-13 record. They play next when they host Academy of Holy Angels for a non-league battle on Friday, May 17.
