Central Knights (Providence, RI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights (West Greenwich, RI), 23-4 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rogers for a Division 3 challenge on Wednesday, May 15. Central will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to Tiverton (Tiverton, RI). The Vikings record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Exeter-West Greenwich falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Scarlet knights host Davies Career & Tech (Lincoln, RI) to battle the Patriots in a Division 3 challenge on Wednesday, May 15. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 6-5. Davies Career & Tech lost 9-1 in their recent league challenge against Cranston East (Cranston, RI)
