The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights routed the host Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Coyotes softball squad by a final score of 22-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Knights (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Murray County Central (Slayton, MN). The Rebels go into the non-league battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Murray County Central topped Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN), 10-3, in a non-league battle.
The Coyotes now possess a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 16. Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda will meet a Flying Dutchmen squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Adrian/Ellsworth (Adrian, MN). The Flying Dutchmen record now stands at 8-4.
