The Munster Mustangs softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Kankakee Valley Kougars to 2 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Munster moves its record to 18-8 on the year. The Mustangs host Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 15. The Wolves come into the game with a record of 17-4. Boone Grove won 5-2 in their recent non-league game against South Central (Union Mills, IN)

In their next game, the Kougars clash with the Hebron Hawks (Hebron, IN) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 15. Kankakee Valley will attempt to move on its 10-12 season record. The Hawks come into the game with a 12-9 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN).
