The Lakeview Lakers routed the host Ortonville Trojans softball squad by a final score of 8-3 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Lakers (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Dawson-Boyd (Dawson, MN). The Blackjacks go into the Camden battle with a 4-11 record. In their last battle, Dawson-Boyd was routed by Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (Kerkhoven, MN), 14-11, in a league battle.

The Trojans now possess a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Yellow Medicine East for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 16. Ortonville will confront a Sting squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Renville County West (Renville, MN). The Sting record now stands at 5-12.
