The Moorhead Spuds softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm to 1 in the Spuds non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Moorhead moves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Spuds travel to Buffalo (Buffalo, MN) to clash with the Bison in a non-league game on Thursday, May 16. The Bison come into the game with a record of 3-14.
In their next game, the Storm clash with the Fergus Falls Otters (Fergus Falls, MN) in a Central Lakes game, on Thursday, May 16. Sauk Rapids-Rice will attempt to move on its 9-12 season record.
