The Orono Spartans softball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting New Prague Trojans to 1 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Orono moves its record to 6-11 on the year. The Spartans host Waconia (Waconia, MN) to play the Wildcats in a Wright County game on Thursday, May 16. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 8-11. Waconia won 7-5 in their recent non-league game against Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN)

In their next game, the Trojans play the Jefferson Jaguars (Bloomington, MN) in a Metro West game, on Thursday, May 16. New Prague will attempt to move on its 15-3 season record.
