The Springfield Blue Devils routed the visiting Whitmer Panthers softball squad by a final score of 7-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Blue Devils (20-7) will now prepare for their battle against Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league battle with a 18-3 record. In their last battle, Perrysburg was routed by Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH), 15-5, in a league battle.
