In Wednesday's league game, the host Adrian Maples baseball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Pinckney Pirates.
The Maples (13-10) will now prepare for their game against Sand Creek (Sand Creek, MI). The Aggies enter the non-league game with a 11-10 record. In their last game, Sand Creek held off Lenawee Christian (Adrian, MI), 8-7, in a non-league game.
Next, the Pirates face the Stockbridge Panthers (Stockbridge, MI) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 16. Pinckney will attempt to improve on its 16-8 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 4-11 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Bronson (Bronson, MI).
