In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting River Pilots baseball team scored a nice 26-1 win over the Beallsville Blue Devils.
The Pilots (14-5) will now prepare for their game against Union Local (Belmont, OH). The Jets go into the non-league game with a 11-10 record. In their last game, Union Local was overwhelmed by Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH), 5-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Blue Devils play the Frontier Cougars (New Matamoras, OH) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 15. Beallsville will attempt to improve on its 2-17 season record. The Cougars go into the game with a 6-7 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Belpre (Belpre, OH).
