The Lakers now hold a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they host Boyne City for a non-league test on Saturday, May 17. Glen Lake will play a Ramblers team coming off a 4-0 league win over Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI). The Ramblers record now stands at 4-13.

With the defeat, Bear Lake drops to 8-5 on the year. The Lakers host Manton (Manton, MI) to play the Rangers in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 14. The Rangers go into the test with a record of 7-4. Manton won 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Roscommon (Roscommon, MI)
