The Blazer Tomcats baseball squad (Ashland, KY), 6-4 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY)

With the triumph, Lawrence County moves its record to 18-9 on the season. The Bulldogs host East Carter (Grayson, KY) to confront the Raiders in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 15. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 18-14. East Carter won 8-1 in their recent non-league contest against Bath County (Owingsville, KY)

The Tomcats now possess a 13-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paintsville for a non-league bout on Friday, May 16. Blazer will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 24-6.
