The Pilgrim Patriots baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Cranston East Thunderbolts to 0 in the Patriots league win on Wednesday.

The Patriots now own a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cumberland for a Division 1 test on Tuesday, May 20. Pilgrim will play a Clippers team coming off a 4-2 league win over Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI). The Clippers record now stands at 15-4.

With the defeat, Cranston East drops to 3-14 on the year. The Thunderbolts host Johnston (Johnston, RI) to play the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 17. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 3-12. Johnston lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Toll Gate (Warwick, RI)
