Massachusetts High School Baseball - Fairhaven holds off St. John Paul II

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Fairhaven Blue Devils (Fairhaven, MA) and the visiting St. John Paul II Lions (Hyannis, MA), saw Fairhaven's baseball team gain a win over St. John Paul II by a tally of 8-4.
The Blue Devils (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Somerset Berkley Regional (Somerset, MA). The Raiders enter the South Coast battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Somerset Berkley Regional was overwhelmed by Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lions face the Carver Crusaders (Carver, MA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 15. St. John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 17-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the battle with a 4-9 record after their 5-1 league loss to Abington (Abington, MA).
