The Flushing Raiders baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Kearsley Hornets to 2 in the Raiders league win on Wednesday.

The Raiders now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Francis for a non-league test on Friday, May 16. Flushing will play a Gladiators team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Lansing Catholic (Lansing, MI). The Gladiators record now stands at 17-5.

With the defeat, Kearsley drops to 8-9 on the year. The Hornets travel to Owosso (Owosso, MI) to play the Trojans in a Flint Metro test on Friday, May 16. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 17-9. Owosso lost 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Holly (Holly, MI)
